Michigan State University
I started MSU in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Science. IT Engineering (I Tried Engineering). I wanted to quit but mom talked me out of it. I switched my major to Park & Recreation Resources – college of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Lifeguarding for the state was my summer work experience. Plan “A”, after graduation: Work at a ski resort or a park.
Fantastic campus life – Class, played intramural sports, worked part-time and made new friends. Junior spring break we went to the Florida Keys, senior spring break we skied in Aspen. State didn’t win much in the 70s. The Spartans seem to be doing better lately…sometimes.
